Lake Erie Bluffs & Perry Community Center: Nicole & Chris

What first appeared to be a drab, rainy day according to the weather forecast turned out to have just a few raindrops (for good luck!), blue skies, and a pretty sunset! Nicole did a father/daughter first look at Lake Erie Bluffs and then had her dad walk her across the bridge to do a first look with Chris. After the first looks, we took family pictures and then a few wedding party images when it started to rain. Several people had umbrellas... to help protect themselves, the bride, and her dress from getting wet and to get a few pictures of Nicole and Chris underneath one. The backlit rain picture is a favorite! The rain didn't last long so we finished wedding party and bride and groom pictures. Nicole and Chris were such a fun couple! They took several candid, funny shots and laughs abounded!

The Perry Community Center was just down the road from the park. They had their ceremony on the back patio which overlooks Lake Erie. Chris' father was the officiant and inserted a bit of humor into the ceremony with the hat he briefly wore! After the ceremony Nicole & Chris mingled with the guests during cocktail hour and then were formally announced into the reception. Toasts and dinner followed. There was such a variety of food - salad bar, pasta bar, taco bar, and hot dogs and chicken nuggets! The coffee/tea/hot chocolate table had everything you could think of. And the desert table had cupcakes, donuts, cookies, and cake!

After dinner, they cut the cake (and a donut!) and had the first, father/daughter, and mother/son dances. Those ended right around sunset so I took them outside to get a few images. The anniversary dance was followed by fun, party dancing inside while outside on the patio Chris got to relax and have cigar time!
