Danielle & Zachary: Tom's Country Place

It was a sunny but chilly November day for this wonderful couples wedding! It started with getting ready pictures with the bride and groom. Then they met up in an area next to the church for their emotional first look. The ceremony was next. Their son was so cute as he walked in front of the bride and her father down the aisle! After the ceremony they had a receiving line and then did a fun bubble exit. Then they came back into the church to sign the marriage certificate and take a few pictures.

Once we got to Tom's Country Place, we took the wedding party and rest of the bride & groom pictures before it got too dark outside. Family pictures were taken inside due to the cold. The wedding party and couple were introduced soon after. Toasts and a delicious meal followed. After dinner, they cut the cake and did the formal dances. Then it was time to party and have fun!

Amanda & David: The Milana Ballroom at Amish Door Village

It was a colorful but cool & windy October day for this wonderful couple's wedding but at least the rain held off until the end of their outdoor ceremony!

The day started with getting ready pictures with the bride and groom. One thing I love about this venue is that is has a beautiful bridal suite perfect for taking pictures (the guys also had a nice area to get ready in)! After Amanda was all dressed, she did a first look with her bridesmaids (a mix of her and David's children) and both mothers. Then she and David did a first look in the small courtyard area just outside the venue. After the first look we took the bride & groom pictures in the field across the parking lot and outside and inside of the inn.

Their beautiful & emotional ceremony came next. The setting for it was lovely! When the ceremony ended, we went back into the inn to take the family pictures. After the reception introductions, they did the toasts and then everyone was served a delicious meal. The cake cutting and formal dances came next. Then it was time for everyone to get up and dance and have fun! Before I left, I took Amanda & David outside in the rain for a few final pictures (I just love rain pictures)!

Congratulations Amanda & David! I wish you both a lifetime filled with happiness, love, and incredible moments together.

Jamie & Justin: Sheffield Lake Community Center

The weather couldn't decide what it wanted to do - it was a cool, windy day with periods of rain, periods of sun, amazing clouds and hints of a pretty cloud covered sunset. This couple braved it all and got some really amazing pictures!

The day started with getting ready pictures with the bride and groom. Then they had an emotional first look in the gazebo at the back of the venue. Up next the wedding party took a ride into Lorain for pictures with the B & O railroad car (Justin loves trains!), the Lorain sign, and other spots of interest in the area. Upon returning to the venue, we took a few more group pictures with the lake background before the couple went to freshen up for the ceremony.

They had a beautiful ceremony that ended with Justin's father singing a song as they walked down the aisle together. After the ceremony, the couple took the family pictures and then did their grand entrance. A thank you was given by Justin and toasts were given by a few members of the wedding party before everyone got to enjoy the delicious meal. After dinner, the couple cut their cake (I love the dinosaurs!), danced their first dance together as husband & wife, danced the parent dances, and did the bouquet toss. Since it was around sunset, I took Jamie & Justin outside for a few more pictures. With all the formalities done, they got to enjoy the rest of the night with their family & friends!

Mikayla & Chris: Serenity Winery

On a beautiful late September day this wonderful couple got married at the gorgeous Serenity Winery in Huntsburg, OH. The day started with getting ready pictures of the bride and groom. The couple had a first touch (where they don't see each other but have the opportunity to hold hands and talk to each other for a few minutes) before the girls took their group pictures. Their ceremony took place next to the pond. After the ceremony, we took the family, wedding party, and then the bride & groom pictures.

The bridal party was announced into the reception which was immediately followed by the first dance and the parent dances. Speeches were given by the maid of honor and best man and then it was time to eat a delicious dinner! After dinner was the cake cutting. There was a beautiful sunset so I pulled the couple outside for a few pictures. When we came back inside, the groomsmen grabbed Chris and chained a bowling ball to his leg! It was a fun moment. The bouquet and garter toss took place during a break in the dancing. Towards the end of the evening, they did a sparkler exit! The couple shared a last dance with each other at the end of the night.

It was a fun day and I enjoyed photographing Chris & Mikayla's wedding! I hope their life together will be filled with incredible moments and memories! Here are just a few of the many pictures they received!

It was a beautiful sunny day for this wonderful couple's wedding in Meadville, PA. The venue they choose was amazing with a nice bridal suite and a beautiful, landscaped property with many different places for pictures! The day started with photos of the bride and her girls getting ready. After Joetta was ready she did a first look with Austin while some of her bridesmaids and her mom looked on. Then we did the bridesmaid, groomsmen, and wedding party photos.

The ceremony was an emotional one with laughs and tears. That was followed by family pictures. We started by taking them outside but due to the heat we went inside to finish (for the AC!). While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, I took the couple around and photographed them at several areas of the property. After their grand entrance, the bride's mom gave a welcome speech before dinner. The remaining speeches took place after dinner and then the dancing began starting with the first dance and parent dances. The cake cutting followed... I loved that they weren't afraid to smash it! The evening ended with a few pictures under the lights at twilight.

It was wonderful to meet both of you! I enjoyed photographing your wedding and I wish you both a life full of happiness and love! Here are just a few of the many images they received!

Jennifer & Matthew: Elegant Backyard Wedding

I don't think this couple could've asked for a more beautiful day for their backyard wedding! It was truly the perfect summer day complete with a gorgeous sunset! They did an amazing job preparing their backyard for the event. When I arrived we started by taking pictures of the couple followed by a few family images. The ceremony was next with the bride and groom walking up the aisle together.

After the ceremony, Jennifer & Matthew spent some time greeting their guests. Then we finished the family pictures and the bride and her family had a special, emotional toast in honor of her late father. Other toasts followed and then it was time for a delicious meal! As dinner ended, the cakes and pastries were brought out - all made by the bride's sisters, mother, and sister-in-laws. The cake cutting was next - the couple actually did about 3 cake cuttings together since there were so many cakes available! Sunset pictures were next and then they did their first dance together while their family & friends gathered around the dancefloor to watch.

It was wonderful to meet both of you and photograph your special day! I wish you both a lifetime full of joy and happiness!

It was a beautiful day for a wedding! I met up with this wonderful couple at their venue, Lake Farmpark. They started their day with a first touch where they held hands while standing around the corner from each other and privately recited their vows. For the ceremony, Alexis and her dad rode up in a beautiful horse drawn carriage! It was such a magical moment! After the ceremony, we took pictures with the families, the wedding party, and the couple themselves.

Then it was time for the reception fun to begin! After the announcements, they did the cake cutting and had emotional first and father/daughter dances. The best man and maid of honor did the toasts which was followed by a fantastic meal. Then everyone went on to enjoy the festive event for the rest of the evening.

Alexandra & Luke: The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake

The night before their wedding had some strong storms that resulted in a few tornados touching down throughout NE Ohio. The venue lost power for a few hours but it, luckily, came back on in the early morning. The day itself was predominantly overcast but they did have a sliver of color in the sky and some amazing clouds for sunset!

The day started with getting ready pictures with the bride and groom. Then Alex had a first look with her father, followed by one with Luke. After the first look, the couple read their private vows to one another. This was followed by couple, wedding party, and some family pictures.

Their ceremony was officiated by Alex's grandfather and was very personal and emotional. There was a moment when Luke fought off a bee that had been flying around that led to some laughter but for the most part the ceremony resulted with many people in tears. After the ceremony, the couple did a few more family and couple pictures and then went inside to enjoy the rest of cocktail hour and mingle with their guests.

After being announced into the reception, Alex and Luke had their first dance. This was followed by the mother-son dance, the father-daughter dance (which was an amazing, choreographed dance to bits of several songs), the cake cutting, several wonderful toasts, and dinner. After dinner, the couple and wedding party came outside for a few sunset & gazebo pictures. Then it was time to go back inside and dance for the rest of the evening!

It was a beautiful summer day for Amber & William's wedding - warm and sunny! I met Amber & William a couple years ago while photographing her sister's wedding. Their day started with getting ready pictures at The Mecca Barn (bride and girls) and at a private residence (groom & guys). In the early afternoon the bride and groom did a first look followed by pictures with the wedding party and a few of just the couple. Then it was time for the ceremony which was in a separate building on the property. Afterwards, we took all the family pictures along with a few more of just the bride and groom.

Following the grand entrance into the main barn to kick off the reception, they immediately did their first dance. That was followed by toasts by the maid of honor and best man. Then it was time for dinner - which was delicious! The cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter toss were next. Around sunset, I pulled the couple aside for a few sunset pictures. The rest of the evening was filled with fun, laughter, and a lot of dancing!

Emily & Ben: St. Luke's Catholic Church & Georgetown Vosh

It was a beautiful sunny day for Emily & Ben's wedding! I met Emily when I photographed her sister's wedding in 2020. I'm always pleased and honored to be chosen to photograph another wedding in the family! The day started at the church where I took a few getting ready pictures of Ben & Emily before they did a first touch & prayer. Emily then did a first look with her father (and had one earlier with her bridesmaids).

The ceremony was in the beautiful St. Luke's Catholic Church. You could see the emotions on both of their faces as Emily walked down the aisle! After the mass was over, they stepped outside to the cheers of their guests, kissed, and talk briefly with a few people before we took family pictures in the church.

I was very pleased they allotted a good amount of time for pictures before the reception! That allowed us to stop at Upper Edgewater Park to photograph a few by the Cleveland sign, Lower Edgewater Park near the large willow tree, and at a couple locations at Lakewood Park!

The reception started around 6:30pm with the bridal party being introduced, toasts, and prayer by Ben. There was an amazing array of food (all the fixings for tacos, 2 types of pasta, sandwiches, and more!) - and it was delicious! After dinner, they cut the cake and did the dances - Emily & her grandfather, Ben & his mother, Emily & her father, saving the first dance for last. Then they did the anniversary dance with Ben's parents holding the distinction of being married the longest! The DJ coaxed everyone onto the dancefloor for a fun group picture and then, with most of the formalities done, it was time to party! A bit later, the bouquet and garter toss were done.

It was a beautiful day for this wonderful couple's vow renewal and wedding celebration! The day started at a nearby hotel for getting ready pictures and the first look. After that we drove over to Whipps Ledges in Hinckley Reservation for pictures in front of the large stones. They brought along their beautiful 3-week-old daughter as getting pictures with her was important to them. Before leaving the area, we took a few pictures with Alexandria's cathedral veil on in the field near the parking lot (I absolutely love the longer veils!).

At the ceremony location, Alexandria did a first look with her parents before hiding away to freshen up. The ceremony was just outside the wonderful gazebo at the event center. There a few tears shed during the ceremony! Afterwards, we did all the family pictures along with a few more pictures of the bride and groom since the lighting was so nice. Following the grand entrance, toasts were given, and then table by table everyone enjoyed a delicious meal. After dinner, they did the cake cutting, first dance, father daughter dance, and the brides' parents danced to a special song. Lastly, they had the bouquet toss before the floor was opened for dancing!

Rachel & Jason: Coe Lake & The Belarusan Event Center

I first met this wonderful couple in February 2020. Due to the uncertainty in the world in the following months, they cancelled their big wedding plans and got married privately. We did an amazing 2hr couples photo session at Coe Lake in October 2020. I was pleased to hear from Rachel last year about their plans to have a vow renewal and celebration with their family & friends and excited to photograph it for them.

We all met at Coe Lake for their emotional first look and then went to a few areas of the park to take pictures. The rest of the wedding party joined us later (they were such a fun group!) and we took the remaining pictures. Once at the venue, Rachel did a first look with her father and then it was time for the ceremony! After the ceremony we took the family pictures. The grand entrance was next followed by the toasts, prayer, and a game of running around to get pictures with each table before 1-2 songs was up (this was really fun and produced some great images!). After a delicious dinner, they did the cake cutting followed by the first dance, parent dances and anniversary dance. The rest of the night was spent dancing and having fun!

Although the day started out with rain (for good luck!) it did stop at just the right times - as the couple emerged from the church after the ceremony and right as we started taking the pictures at the park! I loved that they were prepared with umbrellas just in case!

The day started with getting ready pictures. After Allyson was ready, she did a first look with her stepfather prior to leaving the hotel. Once at the church, her and Nate had a very emotional first touch in a private corner of the church and briefly talked without seeing each other for a few minutes just before the ceremony. The ceremony was a full, traditional Catholic mass. You could see the love Nate has for Allyson as he watched her walk down the aisle! Immediately following the ceremony, we took family pictures inside the church along with a few bridal party and couple pictures before heading over to David Fortier River Park for more pictures with the covered bridge, river and bridge. It was the perfect location as they both enjoy being outdoors in nature. We even found a few remaining cherry blossoms on a tree!

After Allyson & Nate were introduced into the reception venue, they had the MOH, a good friend of the bride, and the best man give the toasts. Then it was time to enjoy a delicious meal! After dinner, they did the first dance and the parent dances. Then it was time to dance, have fun, and enjoy the party! The Postponements, a band Allyson is in, came on and sang a few songs. As a surprise to everyone, Allyson joined them on stage and sang "I Will Survive". She is an amazing singer! The guests loved listening to her and the band.

Congratulations Allyson & Nate! I'm so happy both of you had such a happy and fun wedding day! I wish you both all the best!

Laura & Matt: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church & Historic Rt 20 Event Center

This was a fun wedding - in part because it was for family (Laura is my husband's cousin)! They also had an amazingly warm day for November - just a bit windy during pictures! I started the day at the Historic Rt 20 Event Center with Laura for getting ready pictures. Then we all left to go to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where I was able to get a couple pictures of Matt prior to the ceremony. The ceremony was emotional and joyful! After the ceremony, we took family pictures and a few pictures of the couple at the altar.

They decided to take their wedding party and couples portraits in the field behind the Historic Rt 20 Event Center which is really nice and it saved them time allowing us to take more pictures during this period. It was a really fun group to photograph!

They were announced into the reception around 5pm. This was followed by dinner, a brief welcome/thank you speech by Matt, and the cake cutting. A delicious dinner followed. After dinner, they did the toasts, dances, and the bouquet toss! Then it was time to party and enjoy the rest of the evening!

Congratulations Laura & Matt! It was my pleasure to photograph your beautiful wedding. I wish you both nothing but happiness and love throughout your lives together! Here are just a few of the images they will receive.
