Allyson & Nate: St. Adalbert Catholic Church & St. Demetrios Cultural Center

Although the day started out with rain (for good luck!) it did stop at just the right times - as the couple emerged from the church after the ceremony and right as we started taking the pictures at the park! I loved that they were prepared with umbrellas just in case!

The day started with getting ready pictures. After Allyson was ready, she did a first look with her stepfather prior to leaving the hotel. Once at the church, her and Nate had a very emotional first touch in a private corner of the church and briefly talked without seeing each other for a few minutes just before the ceremony. The ceremony was a full, traditional Catholic mass. You could see the love Nate has for Allyson as he watched her walk down the aisle! Immediately following the ceremony, we took family pictures inside the church along with a few bridal party and couple pictures before heading over to David Fortier River Park for more pictures with the covered bridge, river and bridge. It was the perfect location as they both enjoy being outdoors in nature. We even found a few remaining cherry blossoms on a tree!

After Allyson & Nate were introduced into the reception venue, they had the MOH, a good friend of the bride, and the best man give the toasts. Then it was time to enjoy a delicious meal! After dinner, they did the first dance and the parent dances. Then it was time to dance, have fun, and enjoy the party! The Postponements, a band Allyson is in, came on and sang a few songs. As a surprise to everyone, Allyson joined them on stage and sang "I Will Survive". She is an amazing singer! The guests loved listening to her and the band.

Congratulations Allyson & Nate! I'm so happy both of you had such a happy and fun wedding day! I wish you both all the best!
