Christa & Donny: Wagners of Westlake

January 8th was a special day for this couple - it was their 10th anniversary of being together! With this date falling on a Saturday this year it must have seemed to be the perfect wedding date (plus it is easy to remember!). My day started with meeting the bridal party at their hotel to get a few getting ready images. Once everyone arrived at the venue, Christa did a first look with her father and then freshened up a bit for the ceremony.

The ceremony was an emotional one! Donny teared up upon seeing their 2 beautiful daughters walk down the aisle and then was entranced once he saw Christa! He couldn't help but tell her how gorgeous she looked right then as she walked down the aisle with her father. Christa was all smiles as she gazed at him! It is always amazing to see and capture all those emotional moments! After their ceremony, the couple hid around the corner for a few minutes while the guests went into the reception hall. Once only family remained, we took family pictures in the ceremony room.

Due to the cold weather, all the bridal party and couple images were shot inside the venue. The entranceway and hallway were a perfect place to take them! After pictures, the couple was introduced into the reception hall and then went right into their first dance. That was followed by them cutting their cake. A toast was given by Christa's sister after dinner. The father/daughter dance was next. Then Donny danced a song with his aunt and a song with each one of his daughters. Then it was time to party! Later in the evening, Christa did the bouquet toss.

Congratulations Christa & Donny! I enjoyed meeting both of you and photographing your beautiful wedding! I wish you both a lifetime full of happiness and love! Here are just a few of the many images they will receive.
