Vermilion on the Lake Community Center: Lillian & Adam

Lillian booked me in early 2020 after seeing a gallery of a previous wedding I photographed at this beautiful, historic venue! Their wedding was supposed to have taken place in Aug 2020 but it got pushed back due to the events of last year.

The weather certainly was in their favor on their wedding day... warm and partly sunny! A perfect summer day... and a nice break from all the rain we had been getting. Although the day started out a bit behind schedule, things were back on track by the start of the ceremony and everything turned out well! Lillian looked like a princess in her gorgeous wedding dress, Adam the handsome prince in his suit, and their 3 kids were absolutely adorable! Family, wedding party, and bride & groom photos were all taken on site at the venue... the lake view makes a perfect background. Most of the wedding party wore fun glasses as they were introduced into the reception. This was followed by a toast from the father of the bride, the best man (and brother) of the groom, and the maid of honor. After dinner, they cut the cake, did the first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, and generational dance.  Bouquet toss, garter removal/toss followed. Then the fun began with all the dancing! It was great to see many of the guests out on the dancefloor having fun.
