Waters Edge Vineyard: Anna & Grant

The gorgeous Water's Edge Vineyard was the perfect place for this amazing couple to get married! Even the weather cooperated - a bit cooler and partly cloudy but some sun appeared later in the afternoon. There were even a few raindrops (for good luck!) during family pictures. Anna & Grant were wonderful to work with and their timeline worked out perfectly resulting in a relaxed and fun day!

I arrived in the morning for getting ready pictures. After Anna was ready she did a first look with her father, grandfather and two brothers; after Grant and his son were ready they did a first look with his daughter. The ceremony followed and it was an emotional one! They wrote their own vows and after they read them to each other many people present were in tears! Not only was this a joining of two people but of a family... so when Anna read her vows they were directed at Grant and his children. Their unity ceremony consisted of the family adding soil/watering an evergreen that they will plant at their house. Immediately after the ceremony we took family pictures, wedding party pictures, and the bride & groom pictures.

After being introduced into the reception, there was a prayer and then it was time to eat! After dinner, the best man gave the toast on behalf of himself and the matron of honor. Cake cutting, first dance, and parent dances followed. Anna surprised her grandfather by dancing a song with him as well! The anniversary dance was next and the dancefloor was packed (the most couples out there I think I've seen!) with her grandparents "winning" having been married over 50 years! They had a glow stick exit and then danced one final dance alone together inside the reception hall. Then we did a few night pictures by the walkway, gazebo, and lighted fountain.

Congratulations Anna & Grant! I enjoyed meeting both of you and photographing your beautiful wedding! I wish you both a lifetime full of happiness & love! Here are a few of the many images you will receive.
